How does drinking coffee every day affect your health?
Question Queen Mentally Special! asked:
I know lots of people, especially older people & teachers who drink @ least 3 mugs a day. Lots of people tell me that since I suffer anxiety, I shouldn’t drink caffeine because it would increase the risk of a panic attack. I try to stay away from caffeine, even though I like coffee. I hardly drink it. But if I DO drink it, I usually have more cream & sugar in it than the coffee, itself.

Is drinking coffee helpful or harmful in other ways? How?

It has a feature to let you know when the coffee is done…it beeps 8 times. But now, it beeps even though it’s not even close to being done.
Would it be better if I would use distilled water?
How many pots of coffee do you get from 1 pound of coffee?
dudeinnorcal asked:
We currently have one of those large coffee pots in our office, so we get I’d say between 8-10 cups of coffee per pot. We currently have Peet’s French Roast (nasty) and we usually put about 3-4 scoops in the coffee filter which is a regular sized coffee filter (flat). I honestly have no idea how many pots we get out of each 1 pound bag because many people make coffee here in our office. How many pots would you say you’d get from 1 pound of ground coffee?

Coffee, Can the average person taste the difference?
hulaguy43 asked:
Can the average person taste the difference of a high end cup of coffee. I am going to rule out McDonald’s and Dunkin’ Donuts and refer to the more exotic blends from your Starbucks and Caribou’s and other Specialty Coffee Shops. Can a person discern between Sumatran and Columbian, Kona and Ethiopian, or is good coffee just that, good coffee? I realize there are “super tasters” and “coffee snobs”, but I am refering to the average “Joe” so to speak, can they really tell the difference? Cheers!

How do you make specialty coffee drinks?
WidowMaker asked:
I have a very good coffee and espresso machine. Since the most complicated thing I know how to make with it is a cappuccino (which tastes very good), I was wondering if anyone knew how to make more complicated drinks that you might find at coffee houses. I assume they really aren’t that hard to make, its just that I can’t seem to get the proportions right…

Say, a mocha, iced coffee drinks, and any other recipe you might know. Thanks!
