What is the healthiest thing to add to coffee to make it taste more like a latte?
I got a coffee maker for Christmas, and although I like coffee, I LOVE lattes, and was wondering what to put in it to make it more milk-like and how much of whatever it is to add to the coffee, etc. I know nothing about coffee makers/coffee so any advice is appreciated. I would like whatever I add in to have no fat and very few calories if possible. THANKS!
how much milk would I add? and when would i add it in?
How can I get my coffee to taste like a restaurant’s brew?
I use Gevalia coffee at home and keep my coffeemaker clean but even when I pour a fresh just-brewed cup it doesn’t equal the flavor and smoothness of restaurant coffee. I also store my coffee in small amounts in an airtight, opaque container to keep it fresh.
What is the secret? Is it true that restaurants use an additive or flavor enhancer in their coffee to reduce the acid?
Does drinking coffee replace or lessen the addiction of drinking alcohol in alcoholics?
Does drinking coffee help reduce the addiction or daily cravings of alcohol. Can one develops an addiction to coffee? (from the caffeine)
Will the coffee addiction ever have a chance of switching over from alcohol to coffee?
This is for a research paper on an experimental analysis of behavior treatment.
How do you drink your coffee with whipped cream on top?
Just wondering, how DO you drink your coffee with whipped cream on top? Do you:
~Mix it into your coffee for it to get a lighter frothier taste?
~Drink the coffee as it is, (risking the whipped cream moustache)
~Eat all the whipped cream and then drink your coffee?
Because I’ve only drank regular coffee without whipped cream, I don’t really get the whole idea of putting whipped cream on top of it, but I would like to try it! And by far, Choice number 1 seems reasonable to me. Please tell me other options!
How many pots of coffee do you get from 1 pound of coffee?
We currently have one of those large coffee pots in our office, so we get I’d say between 8-10 cups of coffee per pot. We currently have Peet’s French Roast (nasty) and we usually put about 3-4 scoops in the coffee filter which is a regular sized coffee filter (flat). I honestly have no idea how many pots we get out of each 1 pound bag because many people make coffee here in our office. How many pots would you say you’d get from 1 pound of ground coffee?
How do you make specialty coffee drinks?
I have a very good coffee and espresso machine. Since the most complicated thing I know how to make with it is a cappuccino (which tastes very good), I was wondering if anyone knew how to make more complicated drinks that you might find at coffee houses. I assume they really aren’t that hard to make, its just that I can’t seem to get the proportions right…
Say, a mocha, iced coffee drinks, and any other recipe you might know. Thanks!
Why do coffee beans need to be roasted?
What does roasting do for the coffee?
I am thinking about juicing beans, to create a very strong cup of coffee, that does not have any burnt taste.
For this I believe that I should use un-roasted green coffee beans.
I have a lot of ignorance in this area though and need help and suggestions.
