Lol, at 0:47 he says, “and i know” damn, thats not on the Mp3 i have with him. Thats proof he is really a good singer, and fuld og energy. Daamn
Yes, it took two people to replace Marriott
Steve was so great…he had so much soul and energy
RIP
This is as good a ‘live in the studio’ take as you’ll find. It makes you wonder what Marriot could’ve done on a whole record of straight R&B with his pipes……………
That is a big statement to make, and I could not agree more. Since I first saw this vid I have been “singing it’s praises” to all my friends and probably getting on their nerves about it. I cannot reccomend this enough. what a band .
Great band and great song.
This is the best music video ever recorded.
Isn’t that Clem Clemspon on the guitar? I think Frampton had left some years earlier.
Now this is real R&B, white guys and all.
Rock on!
R.I.P. Stevie
Marriott was in Small Faces, after he left he was replaced by Ronnie Woods on guitar and Rod Stewart on vocals and then they just were The Faces, Not the Small Faces
Frampton was in this band from 1969 t0 1971. Steve Marriot was in Small Faces along with Rod Stewart.
i’m confused. when was pete frampton in this band and when was he out?
Testify! “That’s where it’s at!”
Can’t be out done! I ain’t got no soul…
Guess I’ll go have myself a cup o’ “Black Coffee.”
So much talent and his was obviously having a Good time too….We miss you Brother
Steve Marriott is a legend. Saw them in Atlanta in 1971. Peter Frampton is on the guitar.
Hey midamerican, I’m not even going to look for anything that can top this.
I thought he was lip-syncing when I first heard it.
oh I really like this hah I haven’t see humble pie before,
thanks Lovemarriott for tell me about this:)
Hail Marriott!
Pure undoubted, irreplaceable, genius.
i would challenge any one to show me a better performance than this.if you know of one please send it my way,,,midamerican
