what are some things I can add to a hot chocolate mix for different flavors?

coffee gift baskets
pebble asked:

One of the things I am making for Christmas gifts is Homemade hot chocolate. I was thinking it might be nice to make a few different flavors and give everyone a basket with each with some mugs and marshmallows. But does anyone know how to add the flavoring or what would be good in it? I was thinking of using a bit of instant coffee for a mocha flavored one but what else?

What a thoughtful gift. Maybe check out the powdered drink recipes on line and see if that sparks your imagination. You could experiment with the flavored, dry creamers too. Perhaps hazelnut, amaretto and french vanilla?

The mix really works welltry it its original and really nice flavour you could also add zest from lemon lime or orange to the mix.
An interesting flavour you could also add zest from lemon lime or orange to give it slightly zingy fruity taste dried cherries chopped with walnuts again gives an interesting flavour you could.

im not sure you can add much to that. If you did mix other stuff in then it wouldnt be hot chocolate anymore. It might actually taste kinda disgusting.. Try making different flavors like cherry or strawberry
